I have known Peter Lawrence and his wife Fiona for the last 9 years, during which time I have had frequent contact with them both. We have accommodated them in our own home on a regular basis so have been able to get to know them very well and on a personal basis.

I have not had any business dealings with Peter though we have talked at length on political and social matters which has enabled me to see that he has an active and astute mind  and reasons  with considerable and sound judgement and intellect.  He sets himself high personal standards and expects the same from others with whom he works,

 

I have been impressed with his genuine concern for others and the manner in which he transforms his beliefs into practice. I know that his wife, Fiona, supports him in all his dealings. I have not met the rest of his family but know of his very real interest in supporting his extended family.

 

He gains relaxation from his considerable ability as a painter and photographer, both hobbies have become commercial propositions and his art work has been commissioned following exhibitions of his work. For complete relaxation he is an active fisherman and we have been the grateful recipients of some of his trout catchings.  ( I know that he is also an excellent and adventurous cook.)

 

His integrity and honesty is beyond question. He has a strong social conscience which is evident in his everyday life and I would think would also be apparent in his business dealings.

 

Peter brings together his many personal qualities to allow him to be an effective communicator, being prepared to listen to others but always prepared to hold strongly to his own high standards.
